Osteoporosis
The most exact way to measure bone density is by a DEXA-scan (dual-energy x-ray). The Dexa-scan can show whether you are at risk for a fracture. Osteoporosis screening is covered by most insurance policies and by Medicare. The screening requires a physician, nurse or physician assistant order.
Appointments for osteoporosis screening are available by physician referral to our Outpatient Scheduling Department at (903) 798-8900.

Pediatrics
Our newly remodeled 15-bed, dedicated Pediatric Unit is specially tailored to meet the needs of children from infancy through adolescence. A child’s playroom is located within the unit and books, movies, computer games and an occasional animal or clown visit help to brighten their stay.
